W10 - Insight Sharing - Enduring to the End

If I endure to the end, I shall be saved Matt 24:13 President Dieter F. Uchtdorf said “The blessings that come to us from enduring to the end in this life are real and very significant.” The talk he gave Enduring to the End was a great talk and explains what enduring to the end really means. Enduring tends to sound like a bad thing but it really isn’t. President Uchtdorf put it into words that so nicely explains it and I hope to be able to accomplish because the blessings are beyond our comprehension: “Enduring to the end implies “patient continuance in well doing” (Romans 2:7), striving to keep the commandments (see 2 Nephi 31:10), and doing the works of righteousness (see D&C 59:23). It requires sacrifice and hard work. To endure to the end, we need to trust our Father in Heaven and make wise choices, including paying our tithes and offerings, honoring our temple covenants, and serving the Lord and one another willingly and faithfully in our Church callings and responsibilities. ...

W08 Insight Sharing - The Resurrection

  Because of the resurrection I can have everlasting life. John 11:25-26 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. This scripture gives me comfort to know that anyone that as long as I believe and those of my friends and family believe, that we will be together after we die. There are people that I have loved and lost that I love forward to seeing again someday. I cannot imagine the added heartbreak would be if I did not believe and have a testimony of this. To not believe that I would be with my loved ones again would make losing someone so much harder. I am so grateful for this knowledge. My only hope and prayer is that my family & friends will gain a testimony of this for themselves if they don’t already.
