W04 Insight Sharing - Daughter your faith has made thee whole
Mark 5:25-34
25 And a certain woman, which had an aissue of blood twelve years,
26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his agarment.
28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that avirtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy afaith hath made thee whole; go in bpeace, and be whole of thy plague.
Everyone can receive miracles and/or blessings no matter who
they are.
Jesus Christ loves everyone and wants to have opportunities
to bless us, and it doesn’t really matter who you are. We just have to have faith
in him and our Heavenly Father that they can help us. A great example in the
scriptures was of the women that had a blood disease that most felt was
unworthy but her faith in Jesus Christ was so much that she knew that if she
could just touch his clothes that she would be healed and she was. But we also must
remember that even when we have faith in our Savior that it may be that what we
are asking for isn’t something that is destined to happen at the very minute we
ask. Sometimes they happen when it is when Christ knows it is best for us. We
all may not get the blessings we want on this earth but that does not diminish
the love Christ has for us, we still need to have faith that Christ knows what
is best for us whether we receive those blessings or miracles in this lifetime
or in the eternities.
My mother-in-law was the perfect example to me of faith. She passed away almost 4 years ago from cancer. She had hope that she would survive the cancer, but she always had faith in our Savior and whatever the Lord's will was. It was her turn to leave this earth and to go and be a missionary with her husband on the other side. I miss her all the time but I know that even though she was not made whole here on earth she was made whole once she passed through the veil and I take solace in that fact. Faith is not always easy to have but there sure are others that make it look like it is.
